Sedona, Arizona

The sun was quickly setting on day 8 of my trip, but I wasn't ready to call it a night. So, I tried a little experimental photography after the sun set.

My DSLR camera was still new, so I didn't know a lot about taking long exposures. The pictures may be a bit fuzzy, but I think they help convey the beauty of this area, even at night.

My final picture of the night was taken at Midgely Bridge, a few miles north of Sedona on Route 89A. You can just barely see the lights of Sedona in the background.

I drove back through Sedona's downtown.  Although most shops were closed, I found a few that stayed open late to fulfill my t-shirt needs.

I made another, more extensive visit to Sedona in 2007, spending several days there, and hiking quite a few trails.  You can jump to my 2007 visit here.
