Death Valley National Park, CA
Harmony Borax Works Interpretive Site

As you continue to head
south, the next attraction you'll pass is the Harmony Borax Works. The
park has arranged the old equipment into an easy, paved interpretive
trail, with signs to explain how borax was mined, refined, and
transported.

Here you can get an
up-close look at the wagons used by the legendary "Twenty Mule Teams".

As you
leave the parking lot, turn left. A short, one way road winds through
the yellow badlands of Mustard Canyon. The road meets up with Badwater
Road just a few miles north of the Harmony Borax Works turnoff.
