This is an 8-day trip that keeps driving to a minimum (it's less than 1,000 miles) while providing access to some of the great hikes and scenic drives in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The trip begins and ends in Denver, and spends most of its time near the Interstate 70 corridor. Destinations visited include Boulder, Silverthorne, Loveland Pass, Independence Pass, Aspen, the Maroon Bells, and Glenwood Canyon.
