Crowsnest Pass: Blairmore
Next up on the tour of Crowsnest Pass towns, is Blairmore. This is the largest of the towns in the area, and as such, it offers the most businesses in the area. That said, I didn't find much to stop for.

Downtown businesses line up along one side of 20th Avenue. The railroad tracks are on the other side -- and I think there's some nice green space along the tracks. Of course, at this time of year, there isn't much "green" anywhere.

The Cosmopolitan Hotel is one of the few choices for accommodations in town. Rooms are around $75.

There's also a nice view of the mountains. At least you can see these peaks, even on a cloudy day.

Ghosttowns.com features some pictures of Blairmore. Perhaps I should have spent some time searching for old coal-mine relics, since it appears the area has plenty of them. |

Follow 20th Avenue, and you'll loop through town and back to Highway 3. |
