Begin The Trip Now | Day-By-Day Descriptions | Home
The Southeast Trip is an intense driving trip that touched the Gulf coast of Florida, the peanut fields of Georgia, the beaches of Alabama, antebellum Mississippi, the bayous of Louisiana, the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas, and the countryside of Tennessee. I covered more than 3,300 miles in just 9 days, however, if you fly into New Orleans, Little Rock, Memphis, or Atlanta, you could make the trip somewhat shorter.
